The Best Homemade Ranch

Do you have one signature recipe that it seems like everyone asks for and is a game changer for the everyday meal? Well this is definitely one of mine! This is also a much healthier alternative as to store bought Ranch Dressing.

In 2022 I opened my first restaurant and this is the recipe that I swear kept me in business the whole time. Before creating this recipe ; I never really enjoyed Ranch Dressing. I grew up as a picky eater with all condiments and if I heard the word Mayo my nose turned up faster than you could blink. This recipe has changed everything for that aspect.

I really needed something to make me stick out from other restaurants and to ensure I wasn't just selling the same things every other place does or that they could just have at home because people would have no reason to come out and enjoy my food. So along came one of my best creations and an ingredient that I would go through a gallon a week at my little tiny restaurant.

If you or your family are ranch lovers this is the recipe for you! I always keep mine on hand in a large mason jar in the fridge.

Makes 3 cups


Your List of Ingredients

1 Cup Mayo

2 cups buttermilk

¼ tsp dried dill

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp garlic powder

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

½ tsp dried chives

½ tsp dried parsley

Step 1:

Grab a large bowl and a whisk.

Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix until well combined and smooth.

Store in glass in a the fridge jar for up to 1 week. You May need to shake it before use since it may settle due to not having preservatives and oils as the store bought dressing does.

You can replace the Mayo with Plain Whole Milk Greek yogurt for a more protein dense and healthier alternative!
